zines [ongoing]

Gargle It was created alongside a performance for the exhibition Beyond Otherness at 571 Gallery, Reading in 2021. The zine explores the voice, and uses the character Ursula from Disney’s The Little Mermaid to question themes of ownership, becoming, and transformation.

Ollie is currently working on a zine that reflects on experiences with grief, recovery and disability. Through an open call process, participants submitted work that is displayed alongside Ollie’s on works, in a zine format.

The zine displays the series of photocopies titled belly, that documents Ollie’s surgery scars on their belly after a laparoscopy due to a perforated gallbladder.

Notes on Drag was made in 2021 alongside the video work, How to use your spoons. The zine collects the Reading community’s responses to questions about their relationship to drag.
